This past February 13, 2016 I got the chance to make my way to North Carolina State University and cover such a beautiful and well organized event, Sangeet Saagar! This year they hosted six teams at their 2nd annual Sangeet Saagar competition. I had the opportunity to chat with each team and watch them give impeccable performances. At points I had goosebumps on my arms, that’s just how amazing they were. Sangeet Saagar is the first South Asian A Capella competition held in the Southeast region of America hosted by DSI (Delta Sigma Iota Fraternity, Inc). Their goal is to provide a smooth, professional, and memorable experience for the Triangle community and particularly for the A Cappella teams that they host. The organization gives all proceeds of the event to Sight Saving Academy India, Inc.
