Everyone loves a good photo shoot, right? Let me tell you about one of the most fun photo shoots I have ever done. This semester, a premier Bollywood fusion competition called Aaja Nachle will be hosted by UTD’s Indian Cultural Association. The first competition of its kind in the area… right here… at UT Dallas! Teams from different universities across the nation will be performing and competing for prize money and recognition. As the marketing chair for the Indian Cultural Association’s executive board, I was able to participate in a photo shoot to help promote this event. It was an amazing experience as we spent the day together, get dressed up, and having a good time taking pictures. Working to plan this competition has been a blast! It’s definitely been a lot of work trying to get the word out, finding sponsors, coordinating the venue plans, and watching teams audition videos (my favorite part)! These photos are definitely the cherry on top. Take a look at this good looking group of people! Don’t we look like fun people to work with?
