It's the most wonderful time of the year, and no, it's not Christmas yet! Jhalak is BACK, BIGGER and BETTER than ever! Welcome to one of the biggest dance competitions in the South! Hosted by the Indian Cultural Association at The University of Texas at Austin, Jhalak is THE LARGEST NATIONAL Bollywood Fusion Dance Competition in the State of Texas. As one of the FIRST Legends Partner competitions and Bollywood America Signature competitions of the season, Jhalak will bring you the BEST dance teams from all over the country as well as THE MOST STACKED line up Texas has ever seen! We've raised the bar with $3,000 in prize money for placing teams, and all proceeds from the show will be going to MannMukti, an organization dedicated to removing the stigma surrounding South Asian mental health. What started as a small talent show held at the McCombs School of Business Atrium, has grown into a NATIONAL competition that seeks to test the raw skills of its performers.
