Championships of Bhangra 2019

Carolina Indian Arts In association with DESI DANCE NETWORK is Proud to Present: Championships of Bhangra Teams have been battling all year to earn a spot to call themselves the champion. Come out and see the best bhangra teams from the US, Canada & Australia take the stage! 12 teams will compete for the crown, but there can only be 1 winner!! Championships of Bhangra is an event hosted by Carolina Indian Arts, a local dance academy focused on giving back to South-Asian youth in the Triangle area. We work hard to provide cultural, physical, and community focused experiences for our students. All proceeds from this event will go towards our youth South-Asian students. Currently, we offer three different types of Indian dance classes, and look forward to expanding to other cultural arts. These activities require costs such as traditional outfits, traditional props, studio rentals, music production, and performance registration. All proceeds will go directly to these needs.
