    Jayanti Sahasrabuddhe presents Colors of Divine Love: A Musical Journey with Poet-Saints of India. This concert explores the work of these saints through different musical compositions, celebrating the diversity in language and raag of Hindustani vocal music. About Jayanti Sahasrabuddhe: Jayanti Sahasrabuddhe is an accomplished Hindustani Classical vocalist. Trained in the ancient Indian tradition of the Gurukul method of education, she is one of the leading disciples and also daughter-in-law of renowned vocalist Vidushi Veena Sahasrabuddhe. About Vivek Datar: Vivek Datar is a well known Harmonium player based in the Bay Area. He has learnt from late Pandit Vinayakrao Kale from Gwalior Gharana and currently learns from Vidushi Seema Shirodkar. He has been performing solo concerts and accompanying on the Harmonium for more than 25 years. Vivek has accompanied several renowned musicians from India. His interests lie in the field of tuning theory and application. He has created a changeable reedset Harmonium with Hinge brothers from India.This unique harmonium allows the same Harmonium to be used for any reedset, with each reedset tuned to Gandhaar tuning, which is what is used in Indian Classical Music. About Tanmay Nitin Bichu: Tanmay Bichu began learning tabla since the age of 6, under Shree Manohar Pimpalaskar. He has been taking advanced training under Pt. Ramdas Palsule for more than 10 years and is now learning under Pt. Swapan Chaudhuri at the Ali Akbar College of Music. He has also received guidance from eminent tabla maestros like Pt. Arup Chattopadhyay and Ustaad Zakir Hussain. He is an active performer in various Indian Classical and World Music concerts in India and the US. He has performed several Tabla solos in India and the US and is a sought after accompanist for all formats of Indian Classical Music - vocal, instrumental and dance. Tanmay holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Tech and works as a research engineer at Nikon in the Bay area. Arvind Kansai His passion is poetry -- all poetry, but especially Urdu poetry. Arvind has emceed music and poetry programs in India and the US. And many of Jayanti’s concerts in Bay Area, Davis, Pasadena and Mumbai. While living in San Francisco Bay Area, Arvind has hosted music programs and interviews on the public access TV channel.
