Sangeet Saagar 2019

The Brothers of the The Gamma chapter of Delta Sigma Iota Fraternity, Inc. are proud to announce that we will be hosting six a cappella teams to compete in the 5th annual Sangeet Saagar! Sangeet Saagar is a premier South Asian A Capella Competition and will be held on January 19th, 2019 in the state of the art Stewart Theatre in Talley Student Union at North Carolina State University. This is a one of a kind event in the Eastern United States. All the proceeds from Sangeet Saagar 2019 will be donated to The Movember Foundation. Sangeet Saagar is the premier South Asian A Cappella competition on the East Coast. The Beta and Gamma Chapters of Delta Sigma Iota Fraternity, Inc. co-host the competition in North Carolina at either UNC Chapel Hill or NC State University. Each year, dozens of teams from across the nation apply to be a part of this prestigious competition and only 6 are chosen. Sangeet Saagar leads the nation in top-of-the-notch sound quality and takes pride in it's excellent hospitality. All of the proceeds from each year's competition are donated to charities of our choosing. In the past, Sangeet Saagar has donated to Ekal Vidyalaya, Drive Education, Sight Saving Academy India and the Assocation for India's Development (AID). Winners of Sangeet Saagar will recive points towards the national A Cappella Competiton All-American Awaaz
