Khushbu Patel and Sneha Parikh, founded the dance team in 2009 to bring garba/raas to UConn and to take it to the highest level. HoosierRaas is an Indian cultural dance team at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. HoosierRaas competes at national intercollegiate competitions and performs at various events in Indiana.

BU Fatakada

BU Fatakada is Boston University's premier garba-raas team. The team was established in fall of 2004 by students who shared a passion and love for traditional Indian dancing. Named the Fatakadas, which in Gujurati means fireworks, the team is constantly explosive with energy, skill, innovative ideas, and a drive for competition.
