Emory Savera

- We are Emory's only classical fusion dance team combining the dance styles of Odissi, Kathak, Kuchipudi, and Bharatanatyam into a whole lot of awesome.

Natya UW
- Dance
- Natya is the University of Washington's premier Indian Classical dance team. It was initiated in 2009 by a few undergraduates who have been trained in Indian classical dance styles such as Bharatnatyam, Kuchipudi, and Odissi. Throughout the years, Natyas mission has been to make Indian classical dance fun, exciting, and accessible to audience members by incorporating elements of the dances traditional styles as well as contemporary Western culture. Natya is commended for their energy and enthusiasm while performing; they have given over 50 performances that have ranged from talent competitions to cultural shows. CR

- Rice Rasikas is Rice University's first and only Indian classical dance team. Founded in 2015, Rice Rasikas strives to maintain the traditional aspects of these ancient dance forms with a vast array of music, from classical to contemporary. With passion, tradition and dedication, Rice Rasikas hopes to continue preserving the integrity of the Indian classical arts.

- PSU Natya entered the collegiate competitive indian classical dance circuit in 2012, and has had the opportunity to represent our school at a number of nationalcompetitions ever since! Second place winners at Penn State's Best Dance Crew 2014, we're excited to continue growing and developing as dancers and as a team, and spreading our love of classical dance.

VCU Thandavam
- Dance
- Our purpose is to use the three thousand year old classical dance forms of South India to promote Indian culture on campus and in the greater Richmond area. These dance forms currently include Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi and Oddissi. Throughout the semester, we will be teaching and performing these styles of dance in order to be able to represent VCU at national classical dance competitions as well as performances for various VCU organizations and Richmond City events

Duke Dhamaka

- Founded in 2003, Duke Dhamaka is Duke's premier competitive bhangra team. Dhamaka is a co-ed team open to all Duke students (undergrads, graduate students, medschoolers, etc.) We have competed at national competitions - including Bhangra Blowout, Aaj Ka Dhamaka, and Virsa Punjab Da - and are a perennial favorite at Awaaz, Duke Diya's annual cultural show.
