Michigan TAAL

- Michigan TAAL is a university of Michigan's premiere all-female south indian dance team.The team prides itself on integrating its member's backgrounds in bhangra,Bollywood,Hip-Hop,Lyrical,Indian Classical ,and more to create diverse and energizing routines. At the heart of the group is a passion for the arts and a pride in our identity .By performing locally and competing across the nation,the team hopes to not only promote the liveliness of Indian Culture, but also challenge the notion that strength and femininity are mutually exclusive.

Northwestern Deeva

- Founded in 2001, Deeva Dance Troupe has a unique mission: to generate and participate in an intercultural dialogue through dance. Each dancer brings a unique background and knowledge of a variety of dance styles from all over the world. By choreographing dances that mix cultures, Deeva is excited to not only bring increased cultural awareness to the student body, but to have a cultural exchange through dance.

- Rochester TundRaas is a traditional Indian dance team specializing in the forms of garba and raas from the state of Gujarat. We are a collegiate team from the University of Rochester in Upstate New York founded in 2006. Ever since, our team has been growing, and so has our passion for dancing. We have attended several competitions both in the New York region and nationally, and we are continuing to pursue more.

Chalak Indian Dance Team is a premiere, Co-ed Bollywood dance team that seeks to blend classic Bollywood dance styles with more contemporary dance forms in order to spread the love of Indian Culture. We want you to experience the best of Indian Culture through one of India's most vibrant cultural phenomena:dance! To join Chalak Indian Dance Team, you must attend a 4 hour audition that occurs in the beginning of each year. Unfortunately the auditions for this 2013-2014 year are over. But don't fret! There are still plenty of ways to experience Chalak! We strive to perform at cultural events hosted by UTD and other collegiate organizations, and you'll see us on campus throughout the year promoting our awesome team.

- Founded in 2009 by some of our very own Buckeyes, Ohio State Raas has been representing Ohio for the past 4 years. Performing both on campus and at national-level competitions, we are dedicated and passionate to spread the culture of raas to our various audiences.

CMU Jiya

- CMU Jiya was reinvigorated in 2016, and is Carnegie Mellon's premier all-girls Bollywood fusion team, combining a variety of different dance styles from hip-hop to classical. Our dancers aim to exhibit our passion for dance and showcase Indian culture. The troupe's members excel at a variety of dance styles and many have been dancing since childhood. The team participates in many on-campus and off-campus performances and is working to compete in the national collegiate circuit.

WashU Chaahat

- WashU Chaahat is a completely student-run and non-profit organization at Washington University in St. Louis that performs at various on and off campus events inassociation with Washington University. In addition to performing at Diwali, WashU's largest student-run show, Chaahat is part of a vibrant intercollegiate circuit and travels nationally to compete against other universities. In the past, Chaahat has traveled to Madison, Iowa City, Chicago, and New York City, Boston and Minneapolis. Representing Washington University, Chaahat placed 1st in the Bollywood Category and was declared the overall winner at Aa Dekhen Zara 2012.
