Our purpose is to use the three thousand year old classical dance forms of South India to promote Indian culture on campus and in the greater Richmond area. These dance forms currently include Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi and Oddissi. Throughout the semester, we will be teaching and performing these styles of dance in order to be able to represent VCU at national classical dance competitions as well as performances for various VCU organizations and Richmond City events
