CMU Sahara
Dance
The objective of CMU Sahara is to bring together and provide an opportunity for dancers across Carnegie Mellon University to showcase their talent and discover a sense of community through collaborative team effort via the collective passion for Bollywood dance. This co-ed team aims to develop, teach and promote the culture of Bollywood dancing through on and off campus competitions and performances.

Rutgers Ehsaas
Dance
Rutgers Ehsaas is Rutgers University- Newark's premier competitive co-ed Bollywood- fusion dance team. At the end of 2009, the team was founded by Suchi Gulati and Chandni Patel. The team consists of members from both Rutgers University-Newark and the New Jersey Institute of Technology who train vigorously to improve their talent and display their love for dance. The team wishes to further spread their passion for Indian culture and dance through their performances and cultural events.

ECU Raas
Dance
Often referred to as dandiya raas, this style of folk dance is native to Gujarat, a state in the west of India. Both men and women in Gujurat participate in an annual festival known as Navratri in which dandiya raas is commonly done. A majority of the dance routines we perform are comprised of the traditional dandiya raas steps with a modern twist.

Founded in 2009 by some of our very own Buckeyes, Ohio State Raas has been representing Ohio for the past 4 years. Performing both on campus and at national-level competitions, we are dedicated and passionate to spread the culture of raas to our various audiences.

Rochester TundRaas

Rochester TundRaas is a traditional Indian dance team specializing in the forms of garba and raas from the state of Gujarat. We are a collegiate team from the University of Rochester in Upstate New York founded in 2006. Ever since, our team has been growing, and so has our passion for dancing. We have attended several competitions both in the New York region and nationally, and we are continuing to pursue more.

Tufts JumboRaas

Founded in 2002, JumboRaas has proudly danced at competitions and events across the nation. We combine traditional Gujarati garba music with modern moves and beats. While some members join the team with garba experience, others begin with little to no knowledge of the dance. UConn Surya is Connecticuts premier fusion dance team. We incorporate several different dance styles such as Bollywood, Bhangra, Classical, Raas, Lyrical, Hip Hop and much more! We provide a fun and challenging environment that encourages learning and perfecting skills together.We strive to blend western and eastern dance and music styles in order to create a routine that incorporates both our Asian heritage and western upbringing! We work towards getting competition-ready while making life-long friendships. This team is the perfect way to make new friends, relieve stress, and experience true teamwork.

BU Khatarnak is an all-male Indian Fusion dance team that integrates the styles of Hip-Hop, Bhangra, and Bollywood to showcase the wonders of dance. Formed in the fall of 2010 by dancers from various backgrounds, Khatarnak's visionary dance style brings excitement and energy to the next level and gives a performance that audiences will never forget. The team strives to maintain a unique identity including fresh choreography coupled with innovative sets.
