Wayne Ki Awaaz
- Music
- Created in 2011, Wayne Ki Awaaz is Wayne State's premiere South Asian fusion A Cappella team. Located in Detroit, MI, our family of Warriors has an intense passion for music and having the most fun possible. Wayne Ki Awaaz looks to create a fusion of both Eastern and Western music without instruments. We pay homage to our mother tongue with classical songs from the heart of the Indian subcontinent, while joining these with pieces we've grown up with in the States. Our goal is to create music that will inspire others by creating mixes from various genres to create a diverse musical outreach.

Kranti
- Music
- Kranti is Johns Hopkins' co-ed South Asian Fusion a cappella group that was established in 2003 with the goal of seamlessly blending both traditional and modern Indian musical forms with contemporary Western songs. The word 'kranti,' in Hindi, means 'revolution,' and to that end, we strive to present a unique vocal combination of the East and West in all of our songs.

MIT Ohms
- Music
- We are the Ohms, MIT's newest, most electrifying, first-ever South Asian a cappella group! Really, we are a pretty awesome group of people who love punny statements and pride ourselves on having the lowest time commitment on campus. Nevertheless, we have received plenty of praise for our creative arrangements, vocal talent, and upbeat spirit. We have been featured at MIT's 150th Anniversary celebrations, MIT Campus Preview Weekend, and at our very first concert (Ohms: Resistance) in March 2011. For us, the Ohms are a family. Though we started as just a really cool idea in Date Room B in McCormick Hall, we are who we are today because of a team effort. Every member of the Ohms has left a lasting imprint on our group, and we have created so many memories together. We collaborate, we're efficient, we're fun. We're a little bit nerdy and little bit crazy, but that is why we love each other. Above all else, we love to sing and celebrate the richness of our culture.

Taal Tadka
- Music
- Taal Tadka is the first and only South Asian fusion a cappella group from Georgia Tech! We perform medleys of songs in Hindi, English, and other South Asian languages as well. As our name suggests, we believe in creating "spiced-up rhythm" using just our voices, and aim to bring cultures together in the process!

Umiami Tufaan
- Music
- University of Miami has its very own Fusion A Capella group! The name, if you haven't heard by now, is UMiami Tufaan.Initially, Tufaan was founded on Hindi-American music but has quickly evolved into a rich culturally diverse performance group incorporating people and types of music from around the world. We have competed on campus and at national competitions, our last one held in San Francisco, California! Recently, we competed at UM's own U Factor competition and took 1st place! We take our music very seriously but have lots of fun doing so.

UGA Kalakkar
- Music
- Four ambitious young ladies had one dream to bring together vocally talented individuals from across the University of Georgia to sing A Capella. This dream led to the creation of UGA's first premier south Asian A Capella team, Kalakaar. Kalakaar is a non profit organization with a goal of inspiring people using the power of voice.
