Alliance is a team of alumni garba/raas competitors from all across the country. For the last two years, we have performed as the judging act at Raas All-Stars:National Championship. Alliance provides a chance for alumni to evolve from competitors to teammates. The idea is to create a performance that encompasses the many styles of garba/raas found throughout the country. Together, the team creates a dance via YouTube and only physically practices in person a couple days before the show. The last two years have proved that dedication and passion for dance can literally do the impossible. And if nothing else, it gives all graduates the opportunity to continue to dance.
