Cal Bhangra was formed to promote awareness of the Punjabi Culture at UC Berkeley through the expression of traditional, folk Punjabi dance. By creating a group full of young, passionate Berkeley students, Cal Bhangra hopes to keep Bhangra alive at Cal.
