Javed Ali is a very well appreciated, prolific Indian Playback Singer & Live Performer. He is widely regarded as the Versatile Golden Voice of all time in the Bollywood Film Industry. He is a very fortunate singer, to sing in different genres of music. He is very hard working, purely dedicated and full of determination towards Music. Born and brought up in Delhi, Javed Ali started singing at his early age from his father Ustad Hamid Hussian.
Javed started his musical career as a playback singer with Jingles (Advertisements) and title tracks for TV soaps (TV Serials). Then he gradually moved into film music. He got his 1st break as a playback singer in the year 1998 for the film Beti no.1. (music director Mr. Viju Shah). There after Javed Alis musical career started growing by doing playbacks in films like Chameli, Dil Jo bhi Kahey, Hasil, Kyun..ho Gaya Na, Neal n Nikki, Zindagi Rocks, Golmaal etc.
In 2006 Javed Alis playback in the film Bunty Aur Babli for the song Kaja Re..Kajra Re was noticed & received well appreciation from music lovers but He came into the limelight when the song Ek Din Teri Rahon main from the film Naqaab released in the year 2007. (music by Pritam). The song till now exists in the playlists of music lover worldwide. In the same year a very peppy number Nagada Nagada from the film Jab We Met mesmerized peppy track lovers. By the end of 2007 Javed Ali became the talk of the town & he was getting noticed by many music composers for his back to back hit numbers. He came into the touch with Oscar Winner music composer the great A.R Rahaman in the year 2008 & under his music direction in Javed Ali sang the beautiful soulful track called Jashn-e-Bahara in the Epic Film Jodha Akbar. In the same year (2008) Javed Ali became the voice behind Aamir Khan for his film Ghajini by singing a very romantic, soothing track Guzarish under the music direction of the Maestro A.R Rahaman. The Song Tu Muskura from the film Yuvraaj (2008) also got immense popularity. Simultaneously Javed Ali started performing Live with his band all over the world & also he started performing in A.R Rahamans world tour.
In the year 2009 Javed Ali delivered many super hit, heart touching songs which are till now in the memory of music lovers. Those songs are Arziyan from Delhi 6, Tu Hi Haqeeqat & Tum Mile Title Track from Tum Mile, Aa Jao Meri Tamanna from Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani, Gale Lag Ja from De Dana Dan etc. Gradually he started getting calls from Regional Films music directors for playback singing in Tamil, Telegu, Bengali & other regional languages. The chart buster song Kilimanjaro was sang by Javed Ali in Tamil, Telegu & Hindi versions for the South Superstar Rajinikanth starrer film Enthiran / Robot in 2010. In the span of 2009 20011 his some other major hits were Suraj Hai Chanda Hai from the Rajinikanth starrar Sivaji The Boss, Mayya Yashoda from Jhootha Hi Sahi, Kun Faya Kun from Rockstar showing different Sufi Shades of his musicality. By his super hit performances in playback world, Javed Ali started getting recognition as the most versatile singer of recent times.
In the year 2012 title track of the film Ishaqzaade mesmerized Hindi music lovers all over the world. Again a very soulful romantic number Deewana Kar Raha Hai from the film Raaz 3 was among the massive hits of Javed Alis singing career. He got the opportunity to sing the title track of the last film of the famous film maker late Yash Chopra Sahab named Jab Tak Hai Jaan. In the year 2013 the track Tum Tak from the film Raanjhanaa received immense popularity followed by Tayyab Ali & Chugliaan from Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai Dobara, Jashn-E-Ishqa from Gunday, Galat Baat Hai from Main Tera Hero, Daawat-e-Ishq title track, Murshid Khele Holi from D Day etc. His latest Hindi song Tu Jo Mila from the blockbuster film Bajragi Bhaijaan received superb response worldwide. In regional Industry his latest super hit track is Jingiliya from the film Puli.
By this way his journey as a successful playback singer is going on. Currently Javed Ali is singing in 16 different Indian languages for various films & for all leading actors.
Television Career
In the year 2011 Javed Ali started his Television career as a Mentor in the popular reality show Zee TV Sa Re Ga Ma pa lll champ. He was very popular mentor among the participants. His role as a mentor was very well appropriated.
In 2012 He was the Presenter / Host of the very popular singing reality show Zee TV SaReGaMaPa 2012. His role as the Host received immense popularity among the worldwide audience of Zee TV.
