Kate Levinstein has been teaching bhangra and giddha to people of all ages, genders, and races since 2008. She currently teaches at the Chicago's Old Town School of Folk Music (oldtownschool.org) as well as private lessons and workshops, and has studied both bhangra and dhol in Chardigarh, India. She founded and manages Hareepa! Chicago (hareepachicago.yolasite.com), the Windy City's independent, multi-cultural, all-female bhangra troupe. Hareepa!
