An accomplished wedding and portrait photographer, with extensive photojournalistic experience, Kishan Maheshwary, immigrated from Mumbai (Bombay), India, and settled down in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, late in the 1980's. He started his career as a still photographer in Bollywood (Indian counterpart of Hollywood) and worked with some of the prominent film directors and leading stars of the Indian screen, Raj Kumar, Dharmendra, Rajesh Khanna, Hema Malini, Waheeda Rehman, to mention a few. His photographs have adorned the covers of the widely circulated Indian magazines, Dharmayug, Star & Style and the Illustrated Weekly of India.
For about 15 years he has been working as a professional photographer, in New England area, covering Indian and American weddings, company formals, business conferences and special events. However, Indian wedding photography remains his specialty.
