Shri. Krishna Shrimant Rao Bongane is musically talented and comes from a family of musicians and music lovers. A disciple of Ustad Rashid Khan, he started learning music at the tender age of 12. Krishna is a brilliant vocalist and also plays the harmonium flawlessly. Krishna is a Sangeet Visharad from Akhil Bhartiya Gandharva Maha Vidyalaya. He is one of the most noted and sought after Hindustani classical musicians in India. And to top it all, he has also represented The University of Mumbai in the International Youth Fest Saufest 2008 held in Nepal. He has been awarded many prestigious scholarships.
