Madhusri Sethuraman has been in the dance field for over 40 years and is recognized as an outstanding Bharata Natyam artist. She received her training from world-renowned teachers: Padmabushan Smt. Kamala, Kalaimamani Rajarathnam Pillai, and Padmabushan Smt.Kalanidhi Narayan.
She started dance at the age of four and had her arangetram at the age of eight. In the last thirty years, Madhusri has given over 500 performances in India, U.S.A, Europe, Australia, Singapore, China and Hong Kong. She started as a volunteer dance teacher in 1989 and founded the Srutilaya school of dance in 1992, through which she has taught over 500 students and conducted 50 arangetrams (graduation recitials). Classes are held in Plano, Texas.
