Bollywood fusion is a dance style that incorporates many different styles of dance into one routine. Most notably, Bollywood fusion includes classic Bollywood, hip-hop, and Indian classical dance. Minnesota Junoon fuses these styles to bring a unique viewing experience for the audience.
Minnesota Junoon was founded at the University of Minnesota- Twin Cities and aims to spread culture and art through the form of dance. We intend to do this by performing in local shows and competing at a national level. This past season we have competed in Texas and Wisconsin and have placed second at one of our competitions. Through our efforts, we hope to increase awareness of both Indian culture and the issues we address in our performances.
