Northeastern Nakhraas is Northeastern University's premier garba & raas team. Founded in 2015, the team aims to help spread knowledge and passion for the traditional Indian dance style originating from the state of Gujarat. With the team name coming from a play on the word nakhra, loosely translating to mischievous or whimsical, the team not only strives to compete, but also enjoys the journey along the way
