Raas Mania was founded at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in the fall of 2012. What started as a dream became a reality on February 23rd, 2013 with the first ever Raas Mania. Raas is an Indian folk dance that originates from Gujarat. It is a high octane, high energy dance with the use of dandiyas.
