Sathyaprakash is a playback singer, stage performer & carnatic vocalist known in the music fraternity for his hits in movies, independent albums and on-stage performances. He is the voice behind the song Aalaporaan Tamizhan (Mersal) and several other chartbuster Tamil hit songs like Raasali (Achcham Enbadhu Madamaiyada), Nallai Allai (Kaatru Veliyidai), Ammadi Un Azhagu (Vellakaara Durai) and so on. He is based in Chennai performing classical/fusion concerts.
He travels extensively to perform shows across the globe. With consistent enthusiasm and gripping knowledge in music, he presently works with leading music directors like Ilayaraja, AR Rahman, Vidhyasagar, D Imman, Anirudh, GV Prakashkumar, Sam CS, Darbuka Siva and many others in the industry. Sathyaprakash is now competitively proving his skills in other languages including telugu and kannada movie albums. He is recognised for his quick grasp of arrangement and technicalities of projects.
Additionally, he produces cover versions of various songs using new and different arrangements. His experience in conducting and supervising vocal recordings has given him an upper hand in music production as well.
