Tanu joined Nava Dance Theatre in 2013. She was first introduced to Bharatanatyam by her gurus Sri K.P. & Smt. Katherine Kunhiraman, of Kalanjali: Dances of India. Tanusree performed her dance debut in 2011, and continues to dance in both Kalanjali and Nava productions. Most recently, she danced in Pushfest for Lalli Venkats production as well as West Wave for Sri Thina Subramaniams production The Affair.
