TCNJ Saathiya, ranked nationally, is a fusion dance team specializing in both modern and traditional dance. We perform various styles including hip hop, bhangra, garba, raas, classical, bollywood, and much more. We strive to keep the legacy alive of fusing various types of dance from all cultures and creating a unique, entertaining, and competitive performance. We compete (and win!) in nation-wide competitions. Tryouts will last 2+ hours and consist of learning three pieces that will be taught by a current member, and performing an optional 30-second routine of any style of dance of your choice.
