  • Located in the heart of the Georgia Tech campus, the Ferst Center for the Arts serves as a showcase for the presentation of concerts, lectures, dance, film, and theater. Filled with activity year-round, it is designed to provide a wealth of diverse and enriching opportunities for both Georgia Tech and the greater Atlanta community. The Office of the Arts operates the Ferst Center and presents the Arts@Tech Season of professional music, dance, and theater performances from September to April. The Georgia Tech School of Music performs several concerts at the Ferst Center throughout the year. DramaTech, the student theatre group, performs in the James E. Dull Theatre in the Ferst Center.     Driving From the North Travel south on I-75/85. Exit at North Avenue exit. Turn right on North Avenue. At the second traffic light turn right on Tech Parkway. Go to the first light and turn right on Regents Drive. Take an immediate right on Ferst Drive. Turn left at the first driveway for the AREA 3 Parking Deck. Parking in the deck is available for evening and weekend events. (At all other times, visitors must park in designated lots.     The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) is a combined bus, rail and paratransit system serving Atlanta as well as Fulton and DeKalb Counties. It also operates direct rail service to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Georgia Tech is near the Midtown and North Avenue rail stations on the Gold and Red Lines. 1. Take MARTA to the Midtown Rail Station. 2. Exit the station and catch a GT Trolley to campus. 3. Remain on the Trolley until the Campus Recreation Center stop (across from our Campus Recreation Center). 4. Once you exit the Trolley, head east on the sidewalk leading away from the Campus Recreation Center/ Health Center. 5. The sidewalk will arrive in front of the Ferst Theater. The Student Services Building will be on your right
    The Ferst Center offers ample, well-lit parking, including accessible parking, for evening and weekend events in AREA 3 Parking adjacent to the Student Center and Smithgall Student Services Building on Ferst Drive. Parking for admission events taking place in the Student Center & Ferst Center for the Arts is offered in Visitor Parking Area 3. The cost of parking is $1.50 per hour or $15 per day. Accessible Parking: The closest accessible parking is available in the AREA 2 Parking lot. AREA 2 is located adjacent to the AREA 3 parking deck. Additional accessible parking is available behind the parking deck in AREA 3 Parking. Instead of making a right turn into the parking deck, continue down the driveway and you will see the accessible parking signs at the end of the drive.

Continue on North over the interstate to Tech Parkway (at the 2nd light) and turn right. Go to the first light and turn right on Regents Drive. Take an immediate right on Ferst Drive. Turn left at the first driveway for the AREA 3 Parking Deck. Driving From 10th Street Turn south on Hemphill Avenue. When Hemphill ends at Ferst Drive, turn right and follow Ferst Drive. After the first stoplight turn left into the driveway for the AREA 3 Parking deck. Driving From Midtown Take 5th Street from Midtown Atlanta (accessible from West Peachtree St. or Spring St.) across the interstate onto campus where 5th Street becomes Ferst Drive. Follow Ferst Drive around campus. After the third stop light, turn left into the driveway for the AREA 3 Parking deck. Driving From Northside Drive (from the Georgia Dome) Head north on Northside Drive. Turn right onto North Avenue. Follow North under the bridge and turn left onto Tech Parkway at the stoplight (the Coca-Cola building will be on your right). Follow Tech Parkway to the next stoplight and turn right. Then make another immediate right onto Ferst Drive and turn left into the driveway for the AREA 3 Parking deck.
