Designed as a home for the creative life of the University of Chicago campus and the city of Chicago, the Reva and David Logan Center for the Arts is a partner, resource, and catalyst for developing deeper cultural networks and richer creative projects citywide and beyond. The Logan Center is a place where boundaries dissolve and artistic work is amplified through a web of collaborative partners. More than just a building, it is an innovative hub for arts education for UChicago students and Chicago-land students and families, a platform to showcase todays most innovative creators across all media, and a locus for impactful and collaborative artistic Innovations with partners in nearby South Side communities and across Chicago.
The Logan Center is located on the University of Chicago campus at 915 East 60th Street (at Drexel Avenue). The Logan Center's north entrance is located on East 60th Street, and the south entrance can be accessed by a circular drive on South Drexel Avenue. Bike racks are located near the south entrance on East 60th Street.
Take the Metra south to the 59th Street (University of Chicago) stop and exit the train. Walk west down East 59th Street to South Ellis Avenue. Turn left onto South Ellis Avenue and proceed south until you reach East 60th Street. Turn right onto 60th Street and walk to 915 East 60th Street. The Logan Center will be on the left.
Limited street parking is available around the Midway Plaisance and all around campus.The preferred visitors parking garage is located at Drexel Avenue and 61st Street. The garage opens at 9 am on weekdays. The parking rate is $4 per hourThe parking lot at the corner of Drexel Avenue and 60th Street is free on weekends and after 4 pm on weekdays.
